Sage Community/ Sage View Foundation, is an organization that aims to meet the needs of women and children in crisis by providing healthcare and education opportunities, as well as micro-financing initiatives for the local agriculture market. A clinic will serve four communities that do not have access to basic health care without walking long distances. The learning center will meet the needs of the families surrounding a local commercial farm. The JI team, lead by architect Claude Butera, designed the master plan for these facilities that would source local materials and labor as well as be culturally appropriate to this rural Rwandan community.
