This village near the Karambo River in Rwanda has great potential for entrepreneurship and business development, but they do not necessarily have the space and infrastructure they need to catalyze this growth. This project aims to meet the need for infrastructure and give the resources they need to carry on and build a sustainable economy.

Land has not yet been procured but there is property speculated. Property size is yet to be determined but will be somewhere between 5-10 acres. Detailed survey will be sent via email.

List of desired spaces:
- powerhouse facility (simple design)
- covered space(s) for manufacturing and storage (bricks, gravel, roof tiles, etc)
- possible shipping containers for secure storage
- 6-8 booths for business to sell goods
- Open and flexible community gathering space (community center)

Think of creative ways to gather the community around its industries. A dynamic and inspiring space can spark the locals' confidence, boosting their ability to run their own economic center. With the introduction of electricity via hydropower, we will be providing energy to this community to maximize and reverse the effects of current under-use of energy in rural areas of Rwanda. Also, the Karambo river is subject to flash flooding during the wet season.
Explain the desired timeline from the project. When do you hope to start and finish construction? Will construction occur in phases?
This project is early on in the development timeline. We do not have cash flow yet, but this design will help to get investors on board. Construction will occur in phases, as money goes in, starting with the power house and next the business center.
