A place where young ideas can become working ventures.
The Haitian American Caucus and Third Lens Ministries proposed an Innovation and Youth Entrepreneurship Center in Croix-des-Bouquets to house technology, business, and creative programs for children and young adults. The facility is planned as a bridge between education and enterprise: training rooms support foundational skills, collaborative spaces allow ideas to be developed with peers and mentors, and practical technology areas give participants tools to test what they are learning. Located near HAC’s existing primary and secondary education work, the center extends a pathway rather than creating a stand-alone program.
Journeyman International’s schematic design gives the partners a clear spatial concept for coordination and fundraising while responding to the realities of construction and infrastructure in Haiti. The project remains a proposal, and future business outcomes cannot be claimed. Its purpose is to make opportunity more tangible—a dependable place where local young people can move from curiosity to skill, from skill to an idea, and from an idea toward work they direct themselves.
