The Papua New Guinea Christian School was proposed in Port Moresby as a dedicated campus for education, faith-based programs, and community life. The limited archive does not preserve a readable final book, so the story must stay with confirmed design principles rather than invented capacity. Classrooms are arranged with shaded outdoor circulation and shared gathering space, using cross-ventilation, high roofs, and rain protection to respond to a hot, wet tropical climate. Simple, repeatable building bays allow the school to grow in phases and remain buildable with locally available methods.
Sanitation, safe access, play, and staff support are treated as essential campus infrastructure rather than secondary additions. Journeyman International’s role was to help turn the partner’s educational ambition into a coherent proposal. Construction is not verified. Its architectural purpose is a dependable framework—spaces for teaching and belonging that can expand over time without sacrificing climate comfort or the common life at the center of the school.
