Soldatske Sports and Cultural Center

In Soldatske, part of the Trostyanets community, a deteriorated Soviet-era cultural building is proposed for renewal as a sports and cultural center serving residents from four villages. The program would bring recreation, education, events, and cultural exchange into one recognizable civic place, giving young people and families a setting for everyday activity as well as collective occasions. That work carries particular weight in a region affected by Russia’s war against Ukraine, where damaged and neglected public spaces can deepen isolation long after immediate danger passes.

The reviewed archive does not include a final architectural design or evidence of construction, so this remains a proposed revitalization rather than a completed recovery project.
