Tobby Vision Vocational and Educational Institute

Action Lab for Development proposed the Tobby Vision Vocational and Educational Institute as a modern training campus for young people in and around Bamenda, including communities affected by conflict. ACTLAB’s registered mission emphasizes creative innovation, entrepreneurship, knowledge-sharing, and mentorship, and the campus translates those goals into classrooms, practical training, technology access, and places where students and local organizations can connect. Updated equipment and flexible teaching space would support both employment skills and the confidence to build responsible enterprises. The project’s community value depends on pairing technical instruction with networks, coaching, and fair participation rather than treating training as an isolated credential.

The reviewed Drive archive contains ACTLAB’s legal authorization and the project summary, but no final architectural book, detailed building program, or construction record. TV-VET therefore remains an early campus proposal. Its central idea is a useful one: create a stable place where knowledge can move between instructors, working professionals, institutions, and young people preparing to shape the region’s future.
