Musanze, RwandaA place to earn.
Completed and operating in Musanze, the center brings wool production, counseling, healthcare, education, and childcare together. More than 200 women can earn, learn, and access care without separating work from the rest of life.
Ruhango, RwandaA place to gather.
Workshops, retail, gathering areas, and visitor spaces place Rwandan artisans' knowledge at the center. The design uses local materials, generous daylight, and a shared courtyard to support both production and exchange.
Muganza, RwandaA place to heal.
Light-filled, accessible routes connect treatment rooms, residential care, family support, and a generous therapy hall. The completed center makes movement through the building part of a more dignified care experience.
Raja Ampat, IndonesiaA place to learn.
On a remote Raja Ampat island, classrooms, dormitories, solar power, rainwater systems, and basic medical support come together in one campus shaped around the realities of island life.

In construction · Sunzu Village, Burera, Rwanda
Beside Sunzu's completed library, a second community anchor is taking shape. Local leaders and the village's Pentecostal church identified the need for a larger, flexible place where people can worship, learn, play, make music, and gather, with room for early-childhood activities during the week.

Ubumwe Arena begins with a difficult history: an earlier attempt to build the gathering hall failed during construction. Peace Outreach Initiatives returned to the project with a broader goal - create a safe, resilient campus where sport, education, dialogue, faith, culture, and everyday enterprise can reinforce…
Proposed · Lyantonde, Uganda
Lyantonde sits along the busy Kampala-Mbarara-Kigali corridor, yet many travelers pass through without stopping. Kofi Noir proposes a reason to stay: a compact coffee shop, coworking space, meeting place, and retail hub built from refurbished shipping containers.
Their support helps connect community priorities with the people, coordination, and tools needed to turn them into practical design work.
